How can your improved understanding of Sudan be put to good use?

While the people of South Sudan, Darfur, Nuba Mountains, the Red Sea Coast and other areas of Sudan ultimately must determine their own destiny, the assistance of people of good will within Sudan and everywhere in the world is vital.

There are many ways that individual citizens of Sudan and citizens of other countries can contribute to the common good. Linked are some of the excellent organizations, both in Sudan and internationally, which can use volunteers and donations.

Never underestimate the power of your own written word: as you remain committed to Sudan, and your understanding of events deepens, you become a part of Sudanese civil society. You can be effective both in Sudan and in your home country by influencing national and international policymakers.
